Some recent pictures

I know it has been a while since I posted. I blame it on the craziness with Dave graduating and my babysitting so much. Now that both of those things have slowed down or stopped, I'm going to try to get caught up. Here are some of the pictures that I found on my camera tonight. I'll have to go upstairs to that computer to get the rest of the pictures, so they won't be coming tonight, but I promise they will come soon!

I have stopped buying store bought bread and have started making it once a week. This will become easier now that my Grandma has given me a bread hook for my KitchenAid. But before that, I mixed and kneaded by hand. I gave Alaina a piece of dough to knead with me.


One rainy afternoon, I brought a few of the outside toys inside. Including the Alaina's little electric four-wheeler. Here she is teaching Leo how to use it.




Before Laura was supposed to come, I was getting together a few warmer outfits that would fit Kylee. Alaina decided to try them on first. This is a 6-9 month outfit...

As many of you may know, we stayed at Grammy and Grandpa's house last weekend. I got a few pictures of the kids in the car.


These are a couple of pictures from when we were at Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Gary's house. Leo was being a bit of a ham for the camera....

He and Daddy shared a couple of Grandma Shirley's awesome chocolate chip cookies.

Sleeping Babies

A couple of days ago when Leo woke up from his nap, I brought him downstairs and he fell asleep on my lap. About half an hour later, Alaina woke up. I was able to set Leo down and he kept sleeping. Then Alaina cuddled up and fell asleep on my lap. A few minutes later, Dave called and she stayed asleep when I set her down. So, I had my 2 babies sleeping on the couch together. Of course I took pictures....

Leo tried out finger painting for the first time this week. He did awesome but it only held his attention for about 3 or 4 minutes...

I think this is my first post ever that has no pictures of Alaina.

Last week I made a ham. I still had the leftovers sitting on the counter later that night. When I looked over, I found Leo in it. The camera was, luckily, sitting right behind me.

Last weekend, we spiked up Leo's hair. Alaina called him Uncle Mike all morning.

I think I have more on my pictures on my camera, so I'll try to post again soon! It may be a couple of days though. Leo is sick again, so my free time is limited....

Grandpa and Grammy's House

A couple of weekends ago the kids and I visited Grandpa and Grammy while Dave was at drill. I promised pictures and I'm finally posting them. Alaina hooked up the dog leash to herself and let Leo lead her around.

Then she hooked the leash up to Leo and tried to lead him around. He wasn't as happy with that as he was pulling her around...

Grammy helped Alaina put on her dress.

We got a chance to see Great Aunt Jackie who had Leo looking like the Tin Man.

Alaina just barely fit under the counter at Great Grandma Ann Marie and Great Grandpa Jack's house.

Leo gave their dog kisses.

Alaina carried around the puppy.

Leo carried around Grammy's big Mickey Mouse. Mickey was literally as tall as Leo is.



He brought Mickey over and crawled up on Grandpa's lap.

We celebrated Uncle Mike's birthday while we were there. Alaina, of course, wanted to help with the cake.
