Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mom's out there! We are in Wisconsin safe and sound. We have been pretty busy visiting all of our family. Alaina has been holding up remarkably well. She is loving her Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.

I, unfortunately, forgot my camera when we were visiting Dave's side of the family, so I have to get pictures from Grandma Bonnie's camera. Hopefully I will be able to get them when I see them on Wednesday so I will be able to post pictures after that.

This picture is of Leo the afternoon that we got into Fort Atkinson. Leo fell asleep right when we got in and the only logical place for him to lay (since he now rolls) was on the dog bed. We didn't have the pack-and-play set up and I needed to set him down somewhere while Dave was moving stuff and Alaina needed attention.

Grandma was reading to Alaina on Saturday night after they made it into town. She warmed up to Grandma, Grandpa, and Betsy right away.

Betsy was taking a nap with Leo while Grandma was reading.

After they were done reading, Grandma, Grandpa, and Leo played on the floor.

Alaina was running back and forth tackling Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy

I love this picture because Alaina has such a big smile. I took this right before she tackled me.

What do you know, Betsy is still lounging around with Leo....

Alaina finally settled down and Betsy gave Leo to Mom. Alaina was playing with Leo and making him laugh.

Alaina then brought her book to Grandpa to have him read to her.

Alaina and Leo did so well on the drive up to Wisconsin. I couldn't have asked for them to do any better. We had a 2.5 or 3 hour average of driving between stops. One time on Thursday night when we were driving, Leo and Alaina had both Dave and I cracking up laughing. Leo was hungry and had started crying to eat. Dave, therefore, was looking for an exit. I turned around to check on both of the kids and found Leo screaming and Alaina singing "If your happy and you know it clap your hands". Even though I felt sorry for Leo, I was still laughing at him and Alaina until we found an exit.

Hope you all have had a great weekend!
