Last day of work!!

Well, yesterday was Dave's official last day of work!! He still has to do his out-processing next week, but as of his regular job, he is done! We will finally be headed up to Wisconsin this week! We would appreciate and prayers/good vibes you can send our way as we set out on an 18 hour drive with a 2 year old and a 4 month old. The portable DVD player saved us on our trip to Alabama in October, so hopefully that will work again this time!!

A few mornings ago, Alaina, Leo and I were hanging out in the living room watching cartoons and Alaina went and sat basically on Leo's lap. He didn't seem to mind so I let stay there.

Leo and Bandit are still getting along really well together. Two nights ago they were hanging out on the living room floor together. Whenever I put Leo on the ground, Bandit usually lays next to him..that is if he isn't licking him.

That same night, Dave picked up a soft car top cargo thing for our trip up to Wisconsin. He was trying it out on our car after Alaina went to bed so Leo and I hung outside with him. Leo loves being outside. Whenever he is crabby I know I can take him outside and he will immediately get happy. (I love this half-smile that he does!!)

Since Dave is leaving active duty down here, the Army gave him this. I think it is actually kind of neat. Check it out:

This morning we were all out running around doing errands. When Dave and I went to pull out the kids, we found them in the back seat holding hands.

I hope that you all have a great weekend!! We are doing our best to get everything done seeing as it is our last weekend in Texas!!!

I love Leo's smile, he is really coming into his own, with his personality & looks.
The holding of hands is sooo cute!!
Enjoy your last days of Texas life for now. May your travels be safe & quiet.
