Deana Rose Farmstead Visit

With the local MOPS group, the kids and I went to visit Deana Rose Farmstead which is pretty close to our house. It is a pretty neat place where kids learn about the family farm. But before we get to those pictures, I also have pictures of the kids painting, and Leo playing with his dinosaurs.

Here is Leo playing with his dinosaurs.

When I asked him to pick them up, he got out the broom...

The kids painted last week when Alaina was still running a fever and we had to cancel plans to go the the Kansas City Royals game. They were pretty disappointed so we painted, made kettle corn and watched a movie.

Here are the pictures from the farmstead visit.

Alaina and Leo looking at the chicks and the calfs.

Alaina with the calf in the background.

Alaina and Leo milking the big plastic cow.

And making music with the cowbell fence.

Seeing the goats. They fed these the pellet things and were able to bottle feed the baby goats.

In with the baby goats.

One of them was stepping on Leo. He was getting so mad! He just wanted to sit and pet the goat that was laying down but others kept walking by and bumping him.

And then they wanted to eat his hat...

Posing Pretty just before we left to go home and have a late nap.

The kids had a blast. They are open for about another month before they close for the winter. We definitely have to make it back again before they close and take Daddy with us.

That looked like a fun place to go!
Leo must of looked pretty good to those goats to get so much attention from them.
Leo's idea of sweeping his toys up is good, encouraging.
