Day Trip!!!

The kids and I went on a day trip yesterday to the Twin Cities while Dave was at drill. I have pictures, but first I want to show you a couple of pictures from Thursday (I think...)

Whenever Alaina sees Leo asleep, she asks to hold him. She is really good with him, but I don't know how much longer she is going to be able to hold him. She is small for her age and Leo is big for his. They are almost the same size...She was giving him a kiss.


Then yesterday I was finally able to meet up with Laurel (a friend from college) at the Mall of America. It was so good to see her again! I haven't seen her since my wedding!

We found out after we got to the mall that Barbie was preforming songs from her movie, A Christmas Carol. For those of you who don't have young daughters or granddaughters, Barbie now has a series of movies. They are Alaina's favorites. She has all of them except for the 2 that have come out in the last couple of months. One of them being A Christmas Carol. She has been asking for this movie for the last couple of weeks. She was mesmerized by the songs and Barbie.




Laurel held up Alaina so she could see.

Then Alaina tossed a few coins in the mall's wishing well.

After we left the mall we met up with Leo and Alaina's cousins. They had so much fun playing together! Here is a picture of Alaina and all of her cousins! This will only be all of her cousins for a little bit longer. Both Laura and Haley will be having their babies in the next month! I can't believe how fast the time goes when you aren't the one pregnant :)
