Green Eggs and Ham

Ok, well, not green eggs...I haven't found a good recipe for that yet. We did have ham though. For those of you who know me, you know that ham is not my favorite meal, but I do use it for a means to an end. That end being Wild Rice Soup. It is nicknamed where Dave works to be "heart attack soup". It is not good for you at all, but it is one of the best soups I have ever had. I have a small crock pot of it to send with Dave to work tomorrow. I was told 2 weekends ago by a guy he worked with that it was only an urban legend, so I knew I had to make it before the warm weather hit.

Check out the picture of our "little mama". She is feeding Leo from her doll's bottle. She loves taking care of him.

Grandma read to Alaina 2 nights ago before Alaina went to bed. Last night Alaina was a crabby pants and didn't want anything to do with bed, or anything else for that matter. Luckly she is much happier today!

Dave has to lay a pillow down on his chest in order for Leo to sleep on him. I guess he is too boney. He had to do the same thing when Alaina was his size.

The ham without the green eggs...

Alaina was playing with Leo on the floor and rolled him from his back onto his stomach. I can't believe how well Leo is holding his head up at 2 months!! Of course the dog is checking it all out too. Then again, he may just be trying to get to his green bone on the other side of Leo.

Well, it is time for me to get going. Bonnie, the kids & I are going to the PX soon and tonight we are all going out for Mexican. Hopefully Leo likes Mexican this time. The other couple of times I tried to eat Mexican, he didn't want to eat. That was a while ago, so hopefully it goes better this time!
