Big Week

Well, we have had a very big last week. The puppy is getting bigger and Alaina has had a lot going on. She had her 15mo checkup and shots. Dave took her to the appointment by himself for the first time. She got two shots and had her finger pricked for a blood count. She didn't like it at all. The shots werent bad, but she screamed for the blood draw. Read on to see more of her week.

She got a bubble bath. This was to help her legs after the shots. She had some swelling and warm water for about 20 minutes was supposed to help. I dont know how much it helped, but she loved the bath.




Here is mommies little helper. Wendy was dusting in the living room and Alaina wanted to help out. She did a pretty good job of helping, but did put fingerprints all over the tv stand.

Alaina was walking around with Dave's blue polo shirt on her head, so he decided to put it on her. She had a lot of fun playing with him for the next few minutes with his shirt on.

This morning Alaina just wanted to lay next to Bandit. She kept trying to go into his dog bed when he was in it. Finally she was able to get him to stay in his bed when she joined him and this is the result.

Alaina's New Best Friend

We have been very busy over the last week, since we got Bandit. We have had a lot of fun with him and Alaina really loves him. Here are a few pictures of Alaina and Bandit playing together. One of the things we couldn't get on film was of Alaina chasing Bandit around the living room. Sometimes he would let her catch him and others he would run around things and get away. We will try to keep up with some more pictures with the two of them as they come in.

Newest member of our family

So, today we picked up our new pug puppy. He is 6 weeks old and we named him Bandit. Alaina still calls him Brett (my parents' dog's name) but I am sure she will learn eventually. I'll post pics of him with Alaina soon. Bye!
